Upon learning about the passing of his beloved mentor, Papillon Ladysmith, Thorn finds himself on Seattle’s Dock B, rescuing a beautiful young woman from the ice cold waters of Lake Union. He’s soon caught up in a charade that changes his life, and in the process, could quite possibly break his heart.

And as attraction and desire turn into love, can the pieces of her broken heart truly be mended?
